A month ago, Azure SQL Data Warehouse began to support user-defined restore points. To continuously enhance this experience, the SQL Data Warehouse team has released accelerated and flexible restore points that are seamlessly integrated in the Azure portal. The release includes:
- A finer granularity (8 hours) for cross-region and server restores with an integrated portal experience.
- Fast restore (less than 20 minutes) for any data size with enhanced restore points.
- Custom restore configurations within the portal.
