Description

A new Power BI component is now available for easier integration with React web applications. React is a popular open-source JavaScript library for building user interfaces.

The new component supports both JavaScript and TypeScript and helps you embed Power BI reports, dashboards, dashboard tiles, report visuals, or Q&A in your React applications. It also enables optimized performance with the bootstrap integration and access to all the client-side APIs including report authoring. In addition, the component simplifies the Power BI embed lifecycle management in React applications.

The Power BI React component is now live on NPM and open sourced on GitHub. Read the full instructions for enabling the component in the Power BI React README file.

Explore the demo application to see the complete flow from bootstrapping the report to embedding and updating the embedded report. To learn how to run the demo, check out the demo section on the README file.
