PostgreSQL 14 is now supported for Azure Database for PostgreSQL – Hyperscale (Citus) and includes major enhancements such as:
- Better connection scaling for applications that need a high number of database connections.
- Performance improvements for heavy workloads.
- Data types including multi-range, JSON conveniences, replication, crash recovery speed, and operational excellence in vacuuming, COPY monitoring, and others.
