Description

To align with Azure's ongoing security enhancements, all connections to Azure Front Door must use Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 or later, as support for TLS 1.0 and 1.1 on Azure Front Door will be discontinued starting Dec 1st, 2024. The TLS versions 1.2 and later offer improved security with features such as perfect forward secrecy and stronger cipher suites.

Recommended action

We recommend you set the minimum TLS version to 1.2 in the custom domain setting

If you are using Azure Front Door – Refer to  Configure HTTPS for your custom domain - Azure Front Door | Microsoft Learn to set it to TLS 1.2.

If you are using Azure Front Door Classic refer to Configure HTTPS on a Front Door (classic) custom domain - Azure Front Door | Microsoft Learn  to set it to TLS 1.2.

If you are using Microsoft CDN Refer to Tutorial: Configure HTTPS on an Azure CDN custom domain | Microsoft Learn to set it to TLS 1.2.
