A
new lightweight T-SQL editor within the Azure portal is available for all Azure SQL databases. You can now get an interactive query experience directly in the context of your database. There is no need to install client tools or open ports on client machines to run queries. You can use the editor to conveniently:
- Query dynamic management views for real-time workload insights.
- Issue ad hoc queries.
- Manage your user authentication and more.
To use the editor: go to a SQL database, select the Tools button, and then select the Query editor button.
