We are announcing application consistent restore points support as generally available for Premium SSD v2 and Ultra disks. Application consistent restore points already supports other Azure disks types Premium SSD, Standard SSD and Standard HDD disks. Customers and Azure partners who are looking to build business continuity and disaster recovery solutions can use VM restore points to capture app consistent or crash consistent backups natively on the Azure platform.
