Today we are announcing the general availability (GA) of disaster recovery and migration of VMware and physical machines to Azure with Azure Site Recovery (ASR). ASR helps protect Hyper-V or VMware virtual machines and physical servers, and it provides a unified solution for workload-aware disaster recovery and protection of your heterogeneous and hybrid IT environments. ASR also supports migration of AWS Windows instances to Azure.The GA release brings the following key enhancements that Preview customers have asked for:
Smart replication support for disaster recovery drills and failover testing without needing to reseed source data
Support for resize of source volumes
Process server failover and load balancing
Multiple network adapter support for Linux workloads that are replicated to Azure
