Azure Premium Storage is a solid-state drive (SSD)–based storage solution that is designed to support I/O-intensive workloads. With Premium Storage, you can add up to 64 TB of persistent storage per virtual machine (VM), with more than 80,000 IOPS per VM, and extremely low latencies for read operations.
Offering an SLA for 99.9 percent availability, Premium Storage is now available in the Australia Southeast and East Asia regions, in addition to other regions
previously announced.
