The new Azure Monitor Agent (AMA) and the Data Collection Rules (DCR) improve on key areas of data collection. This includes cost reduction, improved security and performance, and easier management overall across its lifecycle. Upgrade your Azure Monitor Agents for Linux version to v1.19.3 to leverage these benefits on latest distros like Ubuntu 22.04, Rocky Linux, and AlmaLinux.
