You can now use the Azure SQL Managed Instance link for SQL Server 2022 to establish hybrid connectivity and modernize on-premises SQL Server workloads in Azure, without the need to migrate. Use the link to offload or scale-out R/O workloads and analytics, and to perform minimum downtime migrations when and if required.
