HDInsight enables customizations to live, running clusters

With the latest enhancements in Azure HDInsight, users can use the Script Action capability with a running cluster without the need to drop and re-create clusters. This enhancement is available in all HDInsight Linux cluster types—Hadoop, HBase, Storm, and Spark—and is available through the Azure portal, PowerShell, CLI, and SDK. To access this feature, go to the Azure portal and find the Script Actions feature under Settings. Read more on this enhancement and other Script Action features here:
