Data Lake Store Gen 2 is designed specifically for enterprises to run large scale analytics workloads in the cloud, making it very attractive to our IoT customers. Customers and partners can use the existing route to storage (through CLI/PowerShell/portal/ARM) to send messages to Data Lake Store Gen2 accounts, which are hierarchical namespace-enabled storage accounts built on top of Blob storage.
