The refresh of the long-term backup retention (preview) feature of Azure SQL Database provides greater flexibility in setting your retention policies and managing individual backups. Learn more.
Effective July 1, 2018, long-term retention read-access geo-redundant storage (RA-GRS) backup storage charges for Australia Central and Australia Central 2 customers will be renamed to long-term retention backup storage charges on invoices. There won’t be a pricing impact from this change, but you will need to modify billing routines that rely on names.
