The Business Critical service tier in Azure SQL Database Managed Instance is now available in 19 regions.
The Business Critical service tier is designed for applications with the highest availability and I/O requirements (low latency, maximum throughput), available at scale, that your business requires.
Compute and storage options in this service tier range from 8 to 80 vCores and from 32 GB to 4 TB. So you can start small and accommodate increased demands of you workloads later on.
In addition to performance and availability, the Business Critical service tier offers In-Memory OLTP and Read Scale-Out—for load balancing complex analytical workloads without affecting the primary OLTP workload.
