If you previously migrated your SQL databases onto the Hyperscale tier, you can now reverse that migration to move back onto the general purpose tier. This reverse migration capability provides additional data mobility for your SQL Database data. Once on the general purpose tier, you have the flexibility to remain on that tier or move your database to other vCore-based tiers. Due to differences in the unique underlying architecture of Hyperscale versus other SQL database storage architectures, this feature comes with some limitations.
