Azure virtual machines can have one or more network interfaces. Each of these network interfaces can now have up to 250 IP addresses associated with it, enabling new capabilities listed in the documentation for assigning multiple IP addresses by using PowerShell. In addition, primary and secondary network interfaces can now be used for load balancing. For more information, refer to the documentation for load balancing on multiple IP configurations.
The preview includes all Azure regions except these:
- Germany Central, Germany Northeast
- US Gov Iowa, US Gov Virginia
- China North, China East
