Availability Zones are unique physical locations within an Azure region providing reliability within a region. Each zone is made up of one or more data centers equipped with independent power, cooling, and networking. Availability Zone support is in addition to Azure Container Registry Geo-replication support, providing high-availability and reliability across and within Azure regions.
