Get access to more than a dozen new commands and performance enhancements in Redis 7.2—now generally available in the Azure Cache for Redis Enterprise and Enterprise Flash tier caches. This newer version improves Redis 6.0, the previous version offered on Azure Cache for Redis. New features include expanded geospatial functionality, sharded pub/sub, and support for the Redis serialization protocol version 3 (RESP3) protocol.
Unless you have deferred updates, your existing Enterprise caches will be upgraded automatically to Redis 7.2.
