Azure SQL Data Warehouse users can now classify requests with workload importance. Requests classified with higher importance get access to resources first and can finish sooner.
Classification and importance are available for preview in all regions of Azure SQL Data Warehouse with no additional charges. To get started, you can read the Classification and Importance overview documents. Check out the new CREATE WORKLOAD CLASSIFIER syntax as well.
