We encourage
you to transition to sidecar containers prior to the retirement date. Sidecar
provides several benefits over docker compose, including:
- An
easier configuration system to deploy and manage your multi-container
applications.
- Full
Azure portal integration allows you to manage each container separately, check the
status and logs.
- Seamless
integration with Azure App service features like VNet and Managed Identity.
Please note that your docker compose web applications will be
supported through March 31, 2027. After March 31, 2027, your docker
compose applications will start facing disruptions resulting in HTTP 5xx errors
unless they have been migrated to sidecar containers.
