Now you can more easily operate your Azure Cosmos DB accounts at scale. Azure Cosmos DB fleets give you new capabilities when building multitenant software as a service (SaaS) applications.
You can simplify capacity management by creating a pool of throughput (RU/s) that can be shared by accounts in the fleet. You get all the security and performance isolation benefits of creating one Azure Cosmos DB account to represent a tenant or end customer, while also efficiently sharing RU/s resources across tenants to avoid overprovisioning at the per-tenant level.
Additionally, you can configure fleet analytics to send fleet usage data to Microsoft Fabric or an Azure storage account for long-term historical trend analysis. You can make the most of built-in visualizations or write custom queries to analyze your fleet. For example, you can get answers to questions about your most active accounts and tenants, the resources to scale up and down, when account keys were last rotated, and more.
