Key benefits include:
- Comprehensive analysis: AI-powered investigation analyzes telemetry collected by Azure Monitor to identify anomalies, including applications and infrastructure metrics, application logs, resource health, related alerts, diagnostic data, and more. It examines your application topology to identify potential issues throughout the entire application stack.
- AI-Actionable Insights: Investigation provides a list of findings that include a summary of what happened, potential causes, and how to further troubleshoot the issue.
- User-Driven AI Insights: User inputs directly shape the AI Investigation analysis, leading to more precise and tailored insights.
To streamline the troubleshooting process of health degradations, a new entity called "issue" is introduced. Issue consolidates all observability-related data, including the AI-powered investigations. These new capabilities are seamlessly integrated into your existing troubleshooting flow based on alerts. This is currently available for Application Insights resources, with plans to expand to more resource types.
