The Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) security dashboard, now
in public preview, provides comprehensive visibility and automated remediation
capabilities for security issues through the Azure portal, empowering platform
engineering teams to secure their Kubernetes environment more effectively and
easily.
Consolidating security and operational data in one place
directly within the Azure portal allows engineers to benefit from a unified
view of their Kubernetes environment, enabling more efficient detection, and
remediation of security issues, with minimal disruption to their workflows and
eventually reducing the risk of oversight security issues and improving
remediation cycles.
Security issues surfaced in the dashboard are divided into
different security types: Vulnerabilities, Misconfigurations, compliance and
threat detection alerts. Assigning owners and due dates, as well as onboarding
status can be managed via the dashboard and all without leaving the AKS cluster
view in Azure portal.
