We are announcing the retirement of Azure Databricks Standard Tier. Azure subscriptions will no longer support creation of Azure Databricks Standard Tier workspaces after April 1st, 2026.
Starting October 1st, 2026, all Azure Databricks Standard tier workspaces will be automatically upgraded to Premium Tier. This change is part of our commitment to ensure all customers benefit from the latest innovations, enhanced capabilities, and advanced security features available in the Premium Tier.
