You can now
migrate to Azure Linux 3.0 with a new OS SKU enum, ‘AzureLinux3’, in Kubernetes
version 1.28-1.36.
This new
option provides increased control over OS upgrades by decoupling them from Kubernetes
upgrades. Customers using LTS version 1.28-1.31 can now migrate from Azure
Linux 2.0 to Azure Linux 3.0 without a Kubernetes upgrade.
