Azure Container Apps now supports dynamic shell sessions in public
preview. A shell session is a platform-managed built-in container used to
run and execute common shell commands in an isolated sandboxed
environment.
With Azure Container Apps dynamic sessions supporting empty shell
sessions and an integrated MCP server, customers can instantly provide agents
with secure, isolated sandboxes for tasks like code execution, tool testing, or
workflow automation. This enables seamless integration into agent frameworks,
allowing agents to access disposable compute environments on demand. Customers benefit from rapid provisioning, enhanced security, and reduced operational
overhead for agentic workloads.
