You can now enable priority-based execution in Azure Cosmos DB to ensure that high-priority requests are favored during periods of contention. The system will throttle low-priority requests first, allowing high-priority operations to proceed on a best-effort basis.
Using the Azure Cosmos DB SDK, you can assign each request a priority level (high or low). Low priority requests are retried according to the configured retry policy, helping maintain responsiveness for critical workloads.
