AZ525874 - Public Preview: Application Gateway for Containers Istio Service Mesh integration

Application Gateway for Containers now supports integration with Istio service mesh through an optional service mesh extension. This feature simplifies secure north-south communication between external clients and services within the service mesh. 

• Single solution: Load balance traffic to services both inside and outside the mesh through one ingress gateway.  
• Reduced operational overhead: Eliminate configuration bloat by automating repetitive mutual authentication definitions.  
• Certificate trust and rotation: Managed certificate trust and rotation to maintain secure authentication with the service mesh.
