Managing
Kubernetes clusters across hybrid and multi-cloud environments can be complex
and fragmented. To simplify this, Azure Kubernetes Fleet Manager now supports
Azure Arc-enabled Kubernetes, enabling organizations to seamlessly manage any
CNCF-compliant Kubernetes distribution, regardless of where it’s running.
By Arc-enabling clusters and joining them as Fleet Manager member clusters,
users gain centralized visibility into cluster health. Fleet Manager also
empowers cluster administrators and application teams with intelligent workload
placement, making it easier to deploy configurations and applications
consistently across environments.
This enhancement helps
reduce operational overhead, improves deployment agility, and ensures
consistent governance across distributed Kubernetes infrastructure.
