API Center Standard,
previously a separate paid offering, is now included at no additional cost for
all Azure API Management Standard and Premium customers, when an API Center
instance is linked with a corresponding Azure API Management service (for both
classic and v2 SKUs).
With this update, organizations can now use API Center
Standard without incurring additional charges once integration is configured,
bringing even greater value to existing Azure API Management deployments.
API Center enables teams to track and manage APIs in a
centralized location, making it easier to drive discovery, reuse, and
governance across the organization. It provides a single source of truth for
all APIs, helping teams catalog APIs across environments, improve visibility
across the API landscape, and empower developers to find and reuse APIs across
teams and business units.
This update enhances the overall value of Azure API
Management, helping customers simplify API operations and accelerate innovation
without adding cost or complexity once integration is enabled.
