We are announcing the public preview of NCv6 RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell
Server Edition Virtual Machines, as the next enhancement of NC Series VMs
available on Azure.
Nvidia RTX PRO 6000 BSE GPUs are designed to accelerate a wide array of
workloads including video streaming, graphics rendering, product design,
digital twins, and AI development. The NCv6 VM family will be available in
three categories to best suit your workload needs:
- Compute optimized - NClds_RTXPRO6000BSE_v6
- designed for AI and LLM inferencing workloads
- Memory optimized - NCmds_RTXPRO6000BSE_v6
- tailored for visualization and graphics workloads
- General purpose - NCds_RTXPRO6000BSE_v6
- category ideal for VDI and general-purpose AI workloads.
For workloads running NCv6, customer experience will be the
same as other NC and NV Series VMs such as T4, A100, and H100, with all
currently supported workloads from those SKUs also supported on NCv6. Additionally,
NCv6 VM SKUs will come with integrated NVIDIA vGPU licenses and support Multi
Instance GPU (MIG), enabling greater flexibility and efficiency for a variety
of use cases.
