Claude models by Anthropic are now
available for Public Preview in Microsoft Foundry, expanding the platform’s unified ecosystem of
frontier AI. Enterprises can access Claude Sonnet 4.5, Opus 4.1, and Haiku 4.5
for advanced long-context reasoning, coding, and multimodal comprehension—integrated
across Foundry Models, Playground, and Agent Service. Importantly, Claude is
offered within the global standard deployment type, ensuring that organizations
can leverage these models with consistent availability, enterprise-grade support,
and compliance across worldwide Azure regions. This makes it straightforward
for customers to deploy and scale Claude-powered solutions wherever they
operate, benefiting from Microsoft’s trusted infrastructure and governance.
This launch marks a major milestone in Microsoft’s open, interoperable AI
strategy, empowering customers to build agentic systems, automate workflows,
and ground Claude in enterprise data with full observability, security, and
Responsible AI. With Claude joining over 11,000 other models, Foundry
offers the broadest model choice and seamless integration with Azure services,
making it the only enterprise platform to unify all major model families in one
governed environment.
