Node auto-provisioning enabled clusters previously did not
have support for Encryption
at Host and disk encryption sets. This limited users with certain
security requirements for their cluster to not be able to use node
auto-provisioning.
Node auto-provisioning now
includes support for both Encryption at Host and disk encryption
sets. This enables customers to use node auto-provisioning while meeting
required encryption controls and gaining its associated compute efficiency,
resiliency, and cost-management benefits.
