Managing your quota is now faster, simpler, and more transparent. Azure Database for MySQL Flexible Server supports self-service quota management through the Azure Quotas blade in the Azure portal. You can view your current quota usage and limits, request quota increases, and track the status of your requests all directly from the portal without needing to file a support ticket.
Previously, requesting a quota increase required you to navigate to Help + Support and submit a support request, which could take 24 to 48 hours to process. Now, you can submit quota adjustment requests through the centralized Azure Quotas experience, where eligible requests are evaluated and approved automatically, significantly reducing wait times.
This streamlined experience gives you real-time visibility into quota utilization across your subscriptions, helping you plan for capacity needs and avoid deployment interruptions.
