Foundry IQ knowledge bases now surface document-extracted images at query time in public preview. When ingestion pulls figures, screenshots, and diagrams out of PDFs, slides, and Office files, Foundry IQ retains each image alongside the text it appeared with and can return it as part of a retrieval result. Agents can show the original chart to the user instead of describing it secondhand, so answers about technical diagrams, product photos, and report figures stay anchored to the source artwork. Customers building support assistants, internal research tools, and knowledge portals can render visual context inline without building a separate image pipeline. The capability is available across all Foundry IQ-supported document types.
