Azure AI Language brings the next-generation Text Analytics for Health (TA4H) playground to general availability in the Microsoft Foundry portal. Clinical informatics teams and ISVs can paste discharge summaries, doctor's notes, or research abstracts and see extracted diagnoses, medications, symptoms, and time references with UMLS entity linking and relation extraction in a single view. The playground returns FHIR-structured output alongside the standard JSON response, so teams can validate downstream integration with electronic health record systems before writing a line of code. Supported input languages, entity categories, and assertion detection match the production service. The same Foundry resource powers both the playground and the REST API.
