Teams is introducing an update that enables the Teams main window to be usable down to 360x502px or 502x360px, compared to the current minimum supported dimensions of 720px. Additionally, the width of the side panels can be adjusted and personalized based on user preferences. This update enhances application accessibility, creates new multitasking opportunities, supports efficient window management on Windows 11 and macOS, and offers greater zooming capabilities for low-vision users while scrolling in one dimension.

When this will happen:

Targeted Release: Feature available mid-March 2025.

General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out starting end of March and expect to complete by mid-May 2025.

Your organization will be able to resize down to smaller window sizes and to resize left and right panes.
