Microsoft Purview's Data Security Posture Management for AI will soon allow admins to filter AI interactions involving web search queries. This feature, requiring a Purview license, will be available in public preview in mid-June 2025 and generally available by late July 2025. No admin action is required before rollout.
Coming soon: In Microsoft Purview | Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) for AI, admins can filter AI interactions to show interactions that contain a web search query and the contents of that web search query.
A Purview license is required to access DSPM for AI. Admins will only be able to see web queries in Microsoft 365 Copilot or Microsoft Copilot Chat interactions in activity explorer if a user has a license for Microsoft 365 Copilot or Microsoft 365 (which includes Microsoft Chat).
