Viva Engage is adding support for 11 new languages and 3 regional variants, making the platform more inclusive and accessible for global users. This update enhances communication and collaboration across multilingual teams.

When this will happen:

General Availability (Worldwide): Rollout will begin in mid-July 2025 and is expected to complete by late July 2025.

How this affects your organization:

This update will be available to all Viva Engage users by default. Users will be able to select any of the newly supported languages in the following ways:

  • Web and desktop app: Navigate to Settings > Language to choose a preferred language.
  • Viva Engage in Teams: Language settings will follow the Teams user language preference.
  • Mobile apps (iOS and Android): Language will reflect the device’s system language.

What you can do to prepare:

No admin action is required prior to rollout. However, we recommend:
