Windows 11, version 25H2 has reached general availability. This update includes the features released to version 24H2 as part of continuous innovation over the past year. You'll also continue to see new features released to Windows via monthly updates.

When will this happen:
For commercial organizations, Windows 11, version 25H2 is available today through Windows Autopatch and the Microsoft 365 admin center. It is also available for download from the Microsoft
Software Download Service and
Visual Studio Subscriptions. On October 14, 2025, it will be available via Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
How this will affect your organization:
You can prepare for and deploy Windows 11, version 25H2 using the same processes, policies, and management solutions you used for the original release of Windows 11 or Windows 10.
Today, September 30, 2025, marks the start of 36 months of support for Enterprise and Education editions of Windows 11, version 25H2.
What you need to do to prepare:
If you are updating devices already running Windows 11, version 24H2, you can use an
enablement package (eKB) for a fast, easy installation of Windows 11, version 25H2. You can also use Windows Autopatch (Microsoft Intune) or your preferred endpoint management solution. Endpoints managed by Windows Autopatch will automatically receive the Windows 11, version 25H2 feature update according
to the deployment rings and groups you’ve configured, following your
defined rollout cadence.
