Microsoft Teams is introducing a Restart Event feature for live events to recover from unrecoverable failures, improving event resiliency. Rolling out globally from January to March 2026, it enables organizers to restart events with minimal disruption. The feature is enabled by default, requires no admin changes, and may cause brief attendee interruptions.
