What and Why

Copilot Notebook, a new Copilot-powered workspace in OneNote, helps users organize, reason over, and take action on their content. This feature brings advanced Copilot capabilities directly into OneNote on Mac, enabling users to generate insights, structure ideas, and work more effectively within their notes.

A Microsoft 365 Copilot license is required to access this feature.

Rollout Schedule

General Availability (Worldwide): We will begin rolling out in mid-late August 2026 (previously early (previously mid-August) and expect to complete by end of Augustearly September 2026 (previously mid-end of August).
