What and why
Microsoft Edge is introducing an upgraded Copilot new tab page that brings Microsoft 365 Copilot chat, web search, and work content into a single experience. Users can search the web, navigate to websites, interact with Microsoft 365 Copilot, and access relevant work content from a single experience.
The updated experience includes enhanced Copilot chat integration, compose capabilities, suggested actions, curated work content, and a refreshed design to help users complete tasks more efficiently.

What will happen
The Copilot new tab page is off by default.
When enabled, users will see:
Admins can enable the Copilot new tab page through the Microsoft Edge management service using the CopilotNewTabPageEnabled policy and assign the configuration to all users or selected Microsoft Entra groups.
Depending on organizational policy settings, users may be able to disable the experience after it has been enabled.
Users who are not enabled will continue to see the existing Microsoft Edge new tab page.

The Copilot new tab page is off by default.No admin action is required before rollout becauseas this experiencechange applies only to organizations that enabled the Copilot new tab page via CopilotNewTabPageEnabled. If your organization has enabled this policy, users will automatically see the upgraded Copilot new tab page. If the policy is off by default.not configured or is disabled, there is no change to your users' new tab page experience.
