What and why:

We’re introducing Create interactive slides in PowerPoint for Windows.Windows and Mac. This capability helps users create interactive, full-slide visuals that explain complex concepts, timelines, comparisons, systems, and data.

By making sophisticated visual communication easier to create directly in PowerPoint, this experience can help users communicate ideas more clearly and create engaging presentations with less manual effort.

Rollout schedule:

  • Frontier (Worldwide):
    • Desktop: Available now.
    • Mac: Rolling out now and expected to complete by early September 2026.

  • Explaining complex concepts.
  • Presenting timelines.
  • Comparing options or information.
  • Illustrating systems and relationships.
  • Communicating data visually.

Organizations participating in the Microsoft Copilot Frontier program can evaluate the preview experience before general availability. Frontier capabilities are pre-release experiences and may change before reaching general availability.
