What and why
We're introducing breakout room support for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android. This update allows Teams Rooms on Android devices to be assigned to breakout rooms and moved between breakout rooms and the main meeting room by meeting organizers.
This feature improves coordination during breakout sessions and brings Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android closer to feature parity with Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows. This enhancement is based on customer feedback and helps organizations deliver a more consistent meeting experience across Teams Rooms devices.

- General Availability (Worldwide): Beginning in mid-November 2026 and expected to be complete by late November 2026
