The October 2026 security update is the last mainstream support update available for this version. Extended support includes security updates at no additional cost, and Windows Server 2022 will continue to receive monthly security updates through October 14, 2031. For more information, see the Fixed Lifecycle Policy.

Hotpatch update support for Windows Server 2022 Datacenter: Azure Edition has been extended through October 2027. Devices enrolled in hotpatch updates will continue to receive monthly security updates without requiring a restart. To learn more, see the Windows Server 2022 lifecycle page.

Windows Server 2025 is the latest Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) release for Windows Server.
