What and why
Microsoft Copilot and some apps or agents that integrate with Copilot will introduce additional content safety protections for users ages 13 to 17. This updated Copilot experience will be enabled by default for all users with Copilot access who are identified as a teen in Entra ID using the ageGroup attribute. These protections are designed to provide a safer and more age-appropriate Copilot experience. The protections will be enabled with no additional controls, for all users ages 13-17 who have access to Copilot.
