Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management is rolling out a public preview of recommended actions for fine-tuning policies. The rollout will begin mid-April 2024 and is expected to be complete by mid-May 2024. No action is required for this update, and the new recommended actions will be accessible through the Recommended Actions page. The solution can be accessed in the Microsoft Purview compliance portal.

Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies based on their own internal policies, governance, and organizational requirements. Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.
