Summary

Microsoft Teams is introducing domain-specific search, allowing users to narrow down their search results and find what they are looking for faster. The rollout will begin in early December 2023 and is expected to be completed by mid-March 2024. Users can get more precise search results by picking up a specific domain like files, group chat or Teams and can also find domain specific results by typing a person’s name. No preparation is needed, but colleagues can be informed to use domain scoping for quicker searches.
