To fortify the security measures within your organization, we have adjusted the expiration time for the offboarding script obtained through the Microsoft Defender XDR portal.
When this will happen:
Public Preview: Available now
Standard Release: We will begin rolling out early February 2024 and expect to complete by late March 2024.
How this affects your organization:
Scripts will now expire after 3 days instead of the previous 30-day timeframe.
What you need to do to prepare:
No action is needed to prepare for this change. You may want to update any relevant documentation as appropriate. If you encounter any issues with this update in the offboarding process, we recommend using the offboarding API as an alternative solution.
